action
After the death of his father, 13-year-old Jo Idstad is convinced that life is dangerous. At school he avoids all dangers like soccer and pretty girls. He tries to get along well with his classmates, collects soccer cards and does homework for the school boy. So Jo seems to have his life under control.
But with a new classmate Mari everything will be different. Mari not only plays soccer, she is also second best in math after Jo. For Jo, Mari will soon be the girl of his dreams. But with that, Jo's life gets out of hand. Oscillating between courage, lies and cowardice, he is getting more and more trouble with the class buses. But then he gets a football collector's card with the Liverpool goalkeeper, Pepe Reina , who all boys have been looking for all summer.
Reviews
“An imaginative, refreshingly originally told comedy about a" nerdy "outsider who fights for recognition in the turmoil of puberty. Behind the wonderful off-commentaries and funny, surreal sprinkles, a sensitive and respectful examination of childish insecurity, wishes and neuroses is revealed. "
