Kåre Conradi (born January 11, 1972 in Asker , Norway ) is a Norwegian actor .

Life

Kåre Conradi is the son of member of the Norwegian pop group The Monn Keys and singer Fredrik Conradi (1926–1991). He trained at Statens teaterhøgskole and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . From 2000 to 2003 he was artistic director of the Torshovteatret ( Torshov Theater) attached to the National Theater in Oslo .

In 2016 he won the Norwegian theater award Heddaprisen for best male actor for the role of Richard III. in William Shakespeare's Richard III.

As an actor in film and television, he has appeared in more than 30 productions since 1997.

Kåre Conradi was engaged to the singer Marian Aas Hansen until the relationship ended in 2007. In August 2008 he announced that he was in a relationship with the singer Lene Marlin .

He was Ari Behn's best man at his wedding to Märtha Louise of Norway in 2002 and godfather of their eldest daughter Maud Angelica Behn in 2003 .
