Kees Aarts
Cornelius "Kees" Aarts (born November 30, 1941 in Baarle-Nassau , † November 16, 2008 in The Hague ) was a Dutch football player .
Aarts was active for ADO Den Haag from 1963 to 1969 for six seasons in the Eredivisie . He was with the Hague under coach Ernst Happel four times in the cup final and won the cup in 1968. In the 2-1 victory in the cup final on June 3, 1968 against Ajax Amsterdam , the striker contributed to the 2-0 goal before the break. He then played for ADO in the European Cup and was in all four games against Grazer AK and 1. FC Köln ; he scored one goal against the Austrians. He also played for Willem II and the Go Ahead Eagles ; During his career he scored a total of 79 goals in the Eredivisie .
In 1966 he was once appointed to the Dutch national team. Under bond coach Georg Keßler he played on September 18, 1966 in the 1: 2 defeat in Vienna against Austria .
