The film explores the Düsseldorf music scene in the 1970s and 1980s. At the center of the story is the cult pub Ratinger Hof , where many German punk bands were founded. a. die Toten Hosen or DAF. The film alternates between archive recordings and current images, it shows old Düsseldorf and also lets the young Düsseldorf band Stabil Elite have their say. Interviews with Gabi Delgado , Campino , Peter Hein , Kurt Dahlke , Harry Rag , Martina Weith , Richard Gleim and Stabil Elite can be seen among others.

The film was broadcast on July 11, 2016 on WDR and repeated on March 28, 2020 on the occasion of the death of Gabi Delgado-López ( German American Friendship ).
