Keith Robinson (also Keith D. Robinson) (born January 10, 1976 in Kentucky ) is an American actor who has mainly appeared in TV series since 2000.

biography

Robinson was born in Kentucky , but grew up in Evans, a suburb of Augusta , and later moved to Atlanta . While attending the University of Georgia , Robinson signed a recording deal with Motown Records . However, the label never released any material it produced.

Career

Robinson moved to Los Angeles to devote himself to acting, winning a leading role on the TV series Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue . When the series ended, he appeared in films such as Fat Albert and Mimic 3: Sentinel , as well as in the television series American Dreams , Monk and Over There - Kommando Irak .

In 2006, Robinson appeared in the supporting role of CC White in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls . The film contains the song Family , which he co-produced . Robinson and Obba Babatundé (portrayed CC White in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls) both had recurring roles on the UPN series Half & Half . Since 2008 Robinson has played the role of Chester Grant in Canterbury's Law .
