Kelly Frye

Kelly Frye (born December 6, 1984 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actress .

Career

Kelly Frye was born in Houston, Texas, as one of five children. She has Australian-Irish roots. After high school, she attended Loyola Marymount University , where she graduated with a degree in Asian Pacific Sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration in law.

Later, however, she was drawn to acting, in which she has been active since 2006. First, she took on a small role in the short film Twilight's Grace . After a few appearances in short and television films, she was later able to book guest appearances in well-known US series, including Life , Dr. House , The Mentalist , Body of Proof , Navy CIS: LA , Anger Management or The Flash .

In 2014 she took on a recurring role for the first time as Cindy Beck from the series Rake . This was followed by appearances in the soap operas General Hospital and Shadow of Passion . From 2016 to 2017, Frye starred in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders , the spin-off of the hit Criminal Minds series, as Kristy Simmons , wife of agent Matt Simmons , played by Daniel Henney . After the end of the entertaining series, she also takes on her role in the mother series, after Henney's role was added to the main actors of the original series.
