Ken Vuagnoux (born July 25, 1995 in Nice ) is a French snowboarder . He starts in snowboard cross.

Career

Vuagnoux started in Puy-Saint-Vincent in January 2011 for the first time in the European Cup and finished 35th. He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in March 2013 in Veysonnaz , which he finished in 49th place. He won the bronze medal at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco and at the 2015 Junior World Championships in Yabuli . In January 2015 he achieved 12th place at the World Championships on Kreischberg . The following month he finished eighth at the Winter Universiade in Sierra Nevada and in early April 2015 French champion in snowboard cross. In February 2017 he won his first European Cup victory in Colere . At the 2017 World Championships in Sierra Nevada, he came in 40th place. In the 2017/18 season he won the European Cup in Isola 2000 and achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Feldberg . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished 21st in snowboard cross.

Vuagnoux has taken part in 30 World Cups so far and has made it into the top ten three times. (Status: end of season 2017/18)
