history

In a document from 1379 is handed down: unum molendinum ante villam Kenzendorp situatam, di Kenzendorpische molne vulgariter nuncupatum . In other words, a mill located near the village of Kenzendorp, called the Kenzendorpische Mühle. As early as 1472 it is said: dat desert dorp Kentzendorp with the watere vischerie . The fishing village was therefore uninhabited. In 1573 there was again a mill belonging to the Neuendorf Monastery Office with a manor and two small ponds. In 1721 the von Alvensleben zu Polvitz family had a fisherman's house on their desert in Kenzendorf. Even in 1779, a desert village called Kenzendorf and the Kenzendorfer mill, which was then called the Kenzendorfer watermill in 1804.

In 1912, today's forester's house in Kenzendorf was built by the landowners of Alvensleben zu Polvitz. The land with the forester's house was expropriated in 1945.

In 1986 the forester's house Kenzendorf belonged to the state forestry enterprise Gardelegen.

Incorporations

In the 19th century the place came to the manor district Polvitz-Kenzendorf, which was united on September 30, 1928 with the rural community Wannefeld. This is how the forester's house Kenzendorf came to Wannefeld.
