Keon Kelly Daniel (born January 18, 1987 in Lambeau ) is a football player from Trinidad and Tobago .

Player career

Beginning in Trinidad & Tobago

Daniel attended Signal Hill Secondary School from his home island Tobago, and later the St. Clair Coaching School. After a two-week trial at Manchester United , he signed with United Petrotrin and played in the TT Pro League .

After completing another trial training session in England in 2008, this time at West Ham United , he moved to Caledonia AIA on his return.

Change to the USA

In May 2010 he signed with Puerto Rico Islanders FC , who played in what was then the USSF D2 Pro League . He made his debut for the team on June 26, 2010.

Before the 2011 Major League Soccer season, Daniel auditioned for the Philadelphia Union . On March 18, 2011, he moved to Philadelphia. In April 2014 he left the US club. In May 2014 he signed a three-year contract with the Polish second division club Miedź Legnica . The second half of the 2014/15 season he was awarded to Flota Świnoujście . After his contract expired in 2017, he stayed without a club for six months and joined GKS Tychy in early 2018 .

National team

Daniel made his debut for the national soccer team of Trinidad and Tobago on January 29, 2008 in a friendly against Guyana (final score 2: 1) . At the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2013 he was part of the squad and the midfielder took part in the Caribbean championship several times . By 2013 he had completed a total of 59 international matches and scored 14 goals.
