Ceramic research

Ceramic Research is a series of specialist books published between 1976 and 1985 . It was published by the Commission for Ancient Ceramics of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences under its chairman Roland Hampe . Several of the volumes were published with financial support from the Ceramica Foundation in Basel and the German Archaeological Institute . The series, which mainly consists of university papers - half from the University of Heidelberg - was published by Verlag Philipp von Zabern and its presentation was based on the series of researches on ancient ceramics - Kerameus , with which there were also overlaps in terms of content . Several basic works on ancient ceramics appeared in the series.
