Kerkyra ( Greek Κέρκυρα ( f. Sg. )) Is one of 15 districts of the Greek municipality of Kerkyra , which was an independent municipality until 2010.

The 41.905 km² municipality of Kerkyra is located in the east of the Ionian island of Corfu . Neighboring municipalities are in the north Feakes and Paleokastritsa , in the West Parelioi and southern Achillio .

Administrative division

On the occasion of the territorial reform in 1997, the former municipality of Kerkyra, which corresponds to today's municipality of Kerkyra , was merged with three rural municipalities and, according to the administrative reform of 2010, became one of 15 municipal districts in the newly formed municipality of Kerkyra .
