The Kernbach is a 2.6 km long brook near Ismaning . It belongs to the Isar river system .

Today the stream is created as a ditch north of the dam of the Middle Isar Canal. Similar to the Seebach , the course of the Kernbach was probably influenced by the canal.

The Kernbach runs largely parallel to the Seebach at a distance of approx. 120 m to the north, makes a bend to the west in Ismaning and merges there with the Seebach.
