Kerstin Römer

Kerstin Römer (* 1962 in Berlin ) is a German actress and screenwriter.

Life

Kerstin Römer studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and played on various stages in German-speaking countries. At the Salzburg Festival , at the Schauspielhaus Kiel, Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam , at the Kammerspiele Magdeburg, and at the Wiener Festwochen. Among others, Konstanze Lauterbach , Jasmine Hoch and Jürgen Flimm directed.

Since the early 1990s, Römer has continuously played roles in feature television films and series. For example in Tatort Münster, Halbe Hundert, Wolfsland, and Milk & Honey. It was directed by Matthias Tiefenbacher , Isabell Kleefeld , Lars Kraume , Franziska Meletzky , among others .

In 2001 Römer began working as a screenwriter and script editor for serial formats and daily soaps. In 2017 her first TV feature film was shot and in 2018 it was broadcast as a Friday evening film by ARD under the title “In love with Masuria” .
