The Keuchingerbach is a kilometer long, left and north-northwest tributary of the Braschbach in the Saarland district of Merzig-Wadern .

The Keuchingerbach rises northwest of the north of the Mettlach suburb Keuchingen at an altitude of about 335  m above sea level. NHN in a mixed forest at the southeastern foot of the Leuker Kopf . The stream initially flows through the forest , accompanied by the L 176, in a south-easterly direction and finally flows out at an altitude of about 198  m above sea level. Catchment area

The catchment area of ​​the Keuchingerbach lies in the Mettlacher Saarengtal and is largely covered by the Ludowinus Forest . Its drainage takes place via the Braschbach, the Saar , the Moselle and the Rhine into the North Sea .

The highest point is the approximately 414  m high Leuker Kopf . The soil deposits are characterized by the clay-rich middle layers and extensive debris cover from the Quaternary .
