The Braschbach is a two kilometer long, left and northwestern tributary of the Saar in the Saarland district of Merzig-Wadern .

The Braschbach rises northwest of Mettlach at an altitude of about 280  m above sea level. NHN in a mixed forest at the southern foot of the approximately 414  m high Leuker Kopf .

The stream initially flows in an almost easterly direction through the forest, then turns to the south-southeast and then feeds two small ponds in the course. His path now leads east-northeast along the northern edge of Mettlach. A little west of the L 176, it is fed by the Keuchingerbach on its left .

The Braschbach now disappears piped into the underground, runs through Mettlach underground and finally flows out of its Dole at an altitude of about 169  m above sea level. NHN in Mettlach a little east of the Von-Boch-Liebig-Brücke from the left into the Saar approaching from the west .
