Kevin Hooks

Kevin Hooks (born September 19, 1958 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor and film and television director.

Life

Hooks is a son of the actor Robert Hooks . He began his acting career in the film business in the late 1960s. For his role in the movie The Year Without a Father (1972), he received a nomination for the Golden Globe in the category of best young actor . In the next few years he was mainly seen in various television productions. In the 1980s he turned more and more to directing. To date, he has directed various television series and films (including 24 and Prison Break ). Occasionally he also directed movies. In the 2000s he was also involved as an executive producer on various series, including Human Target .

Hooks is married for the second time. He has a child from his first marriage and he has two more with his current wife.
