Kevin John Dunn

Kevin John Dunn (born July 9, 1950 in Stoke-on-Trent , England , † March 1, 2008 in Newcastle upon Tyne , England) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle in England.

Life

Kevin John Dunn was ordained a priest on January 17, 1976 .

In 2004 he was appointed 12th Bishop of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle by John Paul II . He was ordained bishop on May 25, 2004 by his predecessor Michael Ambrose Griffiths ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Liverpool, Patrick Kelly and the then Archbishop of Birmingham, Vincent Nichols .

He was friends with his Anglican neighbor NT Wright , the Bishop of Durham .
