Kevin McHale (actor)
Kevin Michael McHale (born June 14, 1988 in Plano , Texas ) is an American actor and singer . He is best known for his role as Artie Abrams in the US television series Glee .
Life
Before McHale became an actor, he was a member of the boy band NLT ( N ot L ike T hem ) from Los Angeles , California . On April 30, 2009, band member Travis Michael Garland announced that NLT had split up.
From 2009 to 2015, McHale played the paraplegic Artie Abrams in the American television series Glee .
In 2011 he starred in Katy Perry's " Last Friday Night " video. In 2012, he hosted the Teen Choice Awards with Demi Lovato . In April 2018, McHale came out as gay.
