Kevin Schlitte (born November 4, 1981 in Haldensleben ) is a former German soccer player . He mainly played in the right full- back position .

Career

Until the end of 2003, Schlitte played in lower-class amateur clubs in Haldensleben , Magdeburg and Walkenried .

In January 2004 he moved to VfB Germania Halberstadt , who played in the NOFV-Oberliga Süd. At Halberstadt he played until December 2005 before he moved to the northern regional division FC Carl Zeiss Jena . He later described this change as a "huge challenge".

In the following second half of the season he played 13 games and helped Jena to rise to the 2nd Bundesliga, where he started with his club from the following 2006/07 season. On August 25, 2006, he scored two goals in a 3-2 win over 1. FC Köln , Jena's first win in the 2. Bundesliga in eight years.

From 2007 to 2009 Kevin Schlitte played at SC Freiburg . Here he came to 46 missions in which he scored two goals. The season ended the Breisgauer as table top and promoted from. However, he did not go to the 1st Bundesliga with the club, but stayed in the 2nd division with Hansa Rostock , who paid a transfer fee of 119,000 euros to Freiburg. But after a year he left Mecklenburg again after the club was relegated to the third division due to two lost relegation games. For the following 2010/11 season , second division promoted FC Erzgebirge Aue strengthened with Kevin Schlitte. As before in Rostock, he was a regular player on the right wing in Aue and made 30 appearances there in his first season.

After 90 games and three goals, Schlitte moved to the Regionalliga Nordost at his former club Germania Halberstadt at the beginning of the 2014/15 season . Since the 2015/16 season Schlitte has been active again for Haldensleber SC , one of his former youth clubs, in the Association League Saxony-Anhalt. In January 2017, Schlitte moved to Blau-Weiß Neuenhofe in the Bördeoberliga. After the 2016/17 season, he ended his career in Neuenhofe.
