Kevin Tent

Kevin Tent is an American film editor .

Live and act

After dropping out of broadcasting in New York, Tent went to Los Angeles and began producing educational films. He came into contact with the film business through Roger Corman in the late 1980s and, on his behalf, revised the editing of a film by Jim Wynorski . In the following years Kent was involved in various B-films by Cormans such as Frankenhooker until the 1990s .

In 1990 Tent made his debut as a director and was involved in directing the action film Ultra Warrior . His last directorial work to date followed in 1993 with Blackbelt II .

Tent was previously responsible for editing all of Alexander Payne's films.

Tent was nominated for an Oscar in 2012 for his work in the film The Descendants . In the same year he was awarded the Eddie by the American Cinema Editors .

Tent is married and has one child.
