On the one hand, it's about two brothers who are both pop musicians in Lahore. One of the two, Sarmad, falls under the influence of fundamentalists and the other, Mansoor, travels to America to study music and is illegally captured and tortured after the 9/11 attacks and returned to Pakistan after brain damage deported. The third storyline is about Mary (Maryam), who lives in England. She has an English friend there. When her father, who himself lives with an unmarried British woman, learns this, he drives her to Pakistan under false pretenses and forcibly marries her there to Sarmad.

subjects

In this film, music in Islam is also thematized and at the end justified with quotations from Hadith , which brought criticism to the film.
