The ships were built at the South Korean shipyard Hanjin Heavy Industries . They are operated by Delphis NV, a subsidiary of Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB). The ships flying the Hong Kong flag are managed by Anglo-Eastern (Germany).

It is driven by a MAN 6S60ME-C diesel engine . The engine acts on a controllable pitch propeller . Four diesel generators as well as an emergency and harbor generator are available for the power supply. The container capacity is 1,926  TEU or 950 FEU. There are connections for 494 refrigerated containers.

The ships are equipped with a bow and a stern thruster. The ships have ice class 1A.
