Kill Gil - Vol. 1 & 2 is the 387th episode of The Simpsons .
action
In the city's ice rink, the Simpsons attend Krusty the Clown's Christmas gala with figure skater Elvis Stojko as a guest star in the run-up to Christmas . In the main part of the show, a Grinch- like figure, Grumple, steals the festive mood that other costume characters are supposed to chase away from him. Instead, due to a misunderstanding, the event ends in a fight between Christmas-costumed figures from the ice show and a basketball team. While Marge and the children leave early, Homer tries to beat up Grumple and reclaims the festive mood. Then the Grumple tries again and again to get revenge on Homer in the further course of the episode.
On Christmas Eve, the Simpsons go to the Costingtons department store to buy Christmas presents. Department store Santa Claus is the homeless Gil Gunderson. Lisa reveals to him that she wants a certain Malibu Stacy doll, but it is sold out everywhere. Gil organizes the last unsold copy for her, which the department store manager originally put aside for his own daughter. Gil is then released. Marge has overheard the incident, falls for pity and invites Gil to spend Christmas Eve with the Simpson family.
Since the evening is very cheerful, Marge insists that Gil stay the night. Since Marge has forgotten how to reject other people due to a childhood trauma , one night finally turns into almost a whole year, which Gil spends with the Simpsons and ruins them a lot, because he lets himself down very much. On the day after Thanksgiving , Gil finds a job almost unnoticed and moves to Scottsdale for it . Marge had just decided to finally say "no" to Gil.
To draw a line, Marge travels with the family to Scottsdale. Gil quickly made a career there at Jackpot Realty and is now one of the better circles. When Marge reads the riot act in front of all his employees in the office, Gil's boss learns of his inglorious past and dismisses him. Out of a guilty conscience, the Simpsons let Gil draw back to them.
