Kim Bok-rae (born May 3, 1977 ) is a South Korean table tennis player . She reached the semi-finals in doubles at the 2004 Olympic Games .

successes

The defender Kim Bok-ra achieved numerous successes in doubles with her partner Kim Kyung-ah . In 2001 the couple won the German Open .

In 2004, Kim Bok-rae qualified for participation in the double competition of the Olympic Games , where she competed with Kim Kyung-ah. After victories over Gao Jun / Tawny Banh (USA), Jing Jun Hong / Li Jia Wei (Singapore) and Tamara Boroš / Cornelia Molnar (Croatia), they reached one of the two semi-finals. Here they lost to their compatriots Lee Eun-Sil / Suk Eun-mi , and the subsequent game for third place was lost to Guo Yue / Niu Jianfeng (CHina).

Kim Bok-rae achieved further international success in 2005, where she won silver at the Asian Cup with the team and reached the final in doubles with Kim Kyung-ah in the Grand Finals of the ITTF Pro Tour. Also at the German Open 2005 the double came second.

After 2006, she no longer appeared internationally.
