Kim Byoung-jun ( Korean 김병준 ; * August 15, 1991 ) is a South Korean hurdler who specializes in the 110-meter distance .

Athletic career

Kim Byoung-jun gained his first international experience at the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , where he could not finish his race in advance. He then won the silver medal at the East Asian Games in Tianjin in 13.61 s. The following year, he won the silver medal behind Chinese Xie Wenjun in 13.43 s at the Asian Games in his native Incheon, and in 2015 he won the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Wuhan in 13.75 s. He then retired in the first round of the Summer Universiade in Gwangju . Two years later he was eliminated from the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 14.07 s in the first round. He also qualified for the World Championships in London , where he was eliminated with 13.81 s in the lead . In 2018 he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta, finishing fifth there in 13.57 s.

In 2012, 2013 and 2018, Kim was the South Korean champion in the 110-meter hurdles.
