Kim Chan-young ( kor. 김찬영 ; born April 1, 1989 ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Kim Chan-young learned to play football on the school team at Janghoon High School and on the university team at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. He signed his first contract with Chungju Solveige . He signed a contract with Busan IPark in 2014 through the lower-class clubs Mokpo City FC , Tonan Maebashi and Cheongju Jikji . The football franchise from Busan played in the top division of South Korea, the K League Classic . For Busan, he completed 32 games. In 2016 he was under contract with Gangneung City FC . The club played in the third division, the K3 League . In 2017 he went to league rivals Gimhae City FC . In June 2017 he left his home country and moved to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Kasetsart FC . The club from the Thai capital Bangkok played in the second highest league in the country, the Thai League 2 . The contract was terminated after only one month. Kim returned to South Korea and signed a contract with Anyang FC . With the club from Anyang he played in the second division . His former club Gangneung City FC signed him for the 2019 season . He has been under contract with Byuksan Players FC since early 2019 .
