Kimberly Mary DeCesare (born August 11, 1991 in Bethpage , New York ) is a former American football player and coach.

Career

During her studies at Duke University , DeCesare played for the local university team of the Duke Blue Devils and ran from 2010 to 2013 for the W-League participant Long Island Rough Riders , with whom she won the Northeast Division in 2011 and 2012 reached the play-offs . She also played a league game for the New York Athletic Club in the WPSL in summer 2012 , in which she immediately scored a goal. In January 2014 DeCesare was signed in the fourth round of the college draft of the NWSL in 34th position by the Boston Breakers franchise , but was released again before the first game of the season. As a result, she was Boston available as an amateur player and debuted in this role on June 19 in the home game against Seattle Reign FC as a substitute. In early July 2014, DeCesare moved to the Swedish first division club Eskilstuna United , for whom she made her debut on August 9 in the home game against Vittsjö GIK and immediately scored the 1-0 winner in this game. From April 2015 to July 2017 she was under contract with Sky Blue FC before moving to the Dutch first division club PSV Eindhoven .
