Kim Jae-ryong (born April 25, 1966 ) is a retired South Korean marathon runner .
In 1987 he finished fourth in the Dong-A marathon .
In 1991 he won this race and finished sixth in the Fukuoka Marathon . In 1992 he won the Dong-A Marathon with his personal best of 2:09:30 h for the Olympic Games in Barcelona , where he finished tenth.
In 1993 he finished second at the Boston Marathon and fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart . The following year he finished fourth in the Dong-A marathon and won bronze at the Asian Games . In 1995 he finished seventh in Boston. In 1996 he narrowly missed qualifying for the Olympic Games in Atlanta , finishing sixth in the Dong-A Marathon .
