Kim Jo-sun ( kor. 김조순 ; born June 13, 1975 ) is a former South Korean archer and Olympic champion .
Career
Kim won her first major title at the 1995 World Championships in Jakarta when she became world champion with the team. 1997 followed another title win with the team in Victoria , where Kim also secured bronze in the individual. In 1999 she won bronze again in Riom .
At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta , she was together with Kim Kyung-wook and Yoon Hye-young Olympic champion in the team competition. In the individual, she finished sixth after losing to the later bronze medalist Olena Sadownytscha in the quarterfinals .
Two years later, Kim won gold medals in both individual and team competitions at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok .
