Yun Ok-hee ( kor. 윤옥희 ; born March 1, 1985 ) is a former South Korean archer and Olympic champion .

Career

Yun started archery at the age of 10. She made her international debut in 2005.

She won her first major title at the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 with a gold medal in the team competition. She also won silver in singles. In 2010 , in Guangzhou , she won not only the team but also the individual competition.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she was eliminated from the singles in the semi-finals and finally secured the bronze medal. With the team she became an Olympic champion. At world championships she won the title with the team in 2009 and 2013, in the individual a third place was her best result in 2013. In July 2009 she took the lead in the world rankings and held this position until April 2011.
