Kim Kuci

Bekim "Kim" Kuci (born October 25,  1973 in Osnabrück ) is a Dutch football coach and former player.

career

Kuci grew up in Berlin from the age of two , he played in the offspring of the Berlin Rebels from 1989 , and between 1992 and 1998 he was a member of the Berlin men's team (until 1995 in the Bundesliga). In the playing years 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 the running back was under contract with Berlin Thunder in the NFL Europe , in 2001 and 2002 he won the World Bowl with the team . In the Bundesliga he played after the season in the NFL Europe for the Munich Cowboys (1999 to 2001), then in 2002 for the Berlin Adler .

From 2002 onwards, Kuci was responsible for the running backs on the Berlin Rebels' coaching staff , and in September 2003 he also became the head coach of the Berlin youth team. In addition to his coaching activity, Kuci continued to be a player: in 2003, 2004 and 2005 he wore the colors of the Braunschweig Lions . In 2003 he won the Eurobowl with Lower Saxony and the German championship in 2005. In 2006 and 2007 he was playing assistant coach of the Dresden Monarchs and in 2008 and 2009 again a player of the Berlin Rebels. For parts of 2008 he also worked at Westminster College (US state Missouri ), where he was responsible for running backs and players with special tasks in the coaching staff there.

In the run-up to the 2010 season, he was the assistant coach of the Berlin Rebels, responsible for coordinating the attacking game, from 2011 Kuci headed the Rebels as head coach and led them back to the top German league in 2012. At the end of October 2013, Kuci and the team split up. In November 2013, Kuci was introduced as the new head coach of the Berlin Adler. In July 2014, the Berliners won the Eurobowl under Kuci's leadership, at the end of the same month he was dismissed by the Berliners, the Adler stated different views and a realignment of the club as the reason for the decision. In 2015 he worked in the United States and was a member of the coaching staff for the New Orleans VooDoo team in the Arena Football League (AFL). From the 2016 season, Kuci was again head coach of the Berlin Rebels. He led the team into the championship round of the GFL four times, after the end of the 2019 season he resigned from his position.
