Kim Seong-soo (born October 11, 1891 in Jeollabuk-do Province , then Korea , now South Korea ; † February 18, 1955 in Seoul , South Korea), different spelling also Kim Sung Soo , was a South Korean educator , journalist , politician and Independence activist. He was the second Vice President of South Korea (May 17, 1951 to May 29, 1952).
Life
From 1910 to 1914 he studied at the Japanese Waseda University . From 1915 he was a teacher at Joongang High School . In 1920 he founded the daily Tōa Nippō . From 1932 to 1935 he was the Dean of Korea University and from 1947 to 1949 Governor of the Democratic Party of Korea .
