Career
Kim began his professional career at Ōita Trinita in Japan, but returned to Korea in mid-2003 and joined the K-League team Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i without having played a league game in Japan. In 2004 and 2005 he did his military service and played for the military team Gwangju Sangmu during this time . He then continued to play in the K-League for Gyeongnam FC from 2006 to 2009 , before playing for Busan Transportation Corporation FC in the Korea National League for about a year and a half . In early 2011, Kim moved to Australia for the final games of the season in the A-League to Gold Coast United , where he received a short-term contract to replace the injured Robson . Kim could not recommend himself for a longer-term engagement at Gold Coast and only came to a 45-minute mission against Melbourne Victory .
