The Plötz Church is a neo-Romanesque church building in the Plötz district of the city of Jarmen . It belongs to the parish of Kartlow - Völschow in the Demmin provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District .

In the 16th century a daughter chapel of the Kartlower St. Johannis Church was mentioned in Plötz . This half-timbered building was dilapidated in 1672 and was renovated in 1693. In 1833 dilapidation was found again. After the church was damaged in a storm in 1836, it was rebuilt as a stone church and consecrated in 1841. With the construction of the church tower towards the end of the 19th century, the church got its present appearance. The slate roofing of the tower was renewed in 1983, the church roof was re-covered in 1998.

The Plötzer Church is a rectangular hall building made of field stone with brick inclusions and a semicircular closed choir . The retracted square west tower has a brick top with neo-Romanesque shapes. The furnishings date from 1841.

The organ from Barnim Grüneberg's workshop was installed in 1881 and overhauled in 1990. The ringing originally consisted of three bells, the smallest of which, cast in 1486, has been preserved.
