Kirchrimbach (local dialect "Kirchrimbi") is a district of the market Burghaslach in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria in Germany. The village is located in Franconia in the middle of the Steigerwald .

Geographical location

Burghaslach is located between Würzburg and Nuremberg and can be reached via junction 77 of federal motorway 3 . The village is near the Dreifrankenstein . Until the incorporation in 1972 Kirchrimbach was an independent municipality with the districts Unterrimbach , Rosenbirkach , Seitenbuch and Hard. The Rimbach flows north of the village . The Franconian Marienweg runs through the village .

Attractions

Christ Church

The Christ Church in Kirchrimbach was planned by the Nuremberg architect Theodor Eyrich . It dates from 1903.

Mauritius Church

The Mauritius Church is the former church of the Kirchrimbach parish. It stands on a hill on the eastern edge of the village. The choir tower dates from the 14th century, the upper half-timbering is from 1681.

Events

  • Parish fair ("Kerwa") takes place annually on the penultimate weekend in October.
