Kjell Kopstad (born January 10, 1934 , † November 25, 2006 ) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Kopstad took part in the 1954 World Cup in Falun and finished 27th. At the Norwegian Championships in Drammen in 1956 , he won the silver medal. Kopstad took part in the Four Hills Tournament in 1956/57 . His best result was a seventh place in Oberstdorf . In Innsbruck he finished 7th. After Kopstad in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was only 35th, he did not take part in the competition in Bischofshofen . At the Norwegian Championships in Mo i Rana in 1957 Kopstad was able to defend his silver medal. At the 1958 World Cup in Lahti , he finished 16th. At the Norwegian Championship in Oslo in 1958 Kopstad won the bronze medal. The Four Hills Tournament 1958/59 he started with a 28th place in Oberstdorf. At the New Year's competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Kopstad achieved the best international result of his career in sixth place. In Innsbruck he was 19th and in Bischofshofen 16th.
