Kjetil Saunes

Kjetil Saunes (born October 22, 1962 in Ulsteinvik ) is a Norwegian bass player; he also plays guitar, keyboards and synthesizers.

Saunes began his career as a 19-year-old jazz musician and member of a band with Kjetil Bjerkestrand , Anders Viken and Eivind Aarset . He played in the rock band KGB from Hamar in the 1980s and worked with Bjørn Eidsvåg for a long time . He worked with Unni Wilhelmsen on the Hurricans Eye project (2003 album).

His first album Lystyv was released in 1993 , followed by Fyr (1996), Arkana (1999) and Måne blek (2008). In addition, he worked a. a. with Eivind Aarset , Paolo Vinaccia , Per Hillestad , Bugge Wesseltoft , Nils Petter Molvær and Elisabeth Moberg .
