The kkStB tender number 72 was a Tender series of kkStB whose tender originally from the Society State Railway Austro-Hungarian (StEG) originated.

The StEG procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1897 . They were only supplied by the company's own machine factory, but differed in details, as the table shows.

After the nationalization of the StEG, the kkStB classified these tenders as number  72 and continued to couple them exclusively with the StEG's locomotives (see table).
