The steam locomotive series StEG II 141-142 was an express train - steam locomotive series of the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .

history

The StEG had two of these locomotives, designated as Category  Ib , built in their own factory as Type 100 in 1888 . Compared to rows  I and  Ia , they had larger grate surfaces to make better use of bad coals. Despite its similar dimensions, the kettle had a completely different shape.

The machines of this series were stationed in Wessely .

After the separation of the StEG into the Austrian and the Hungarian part, the locomotives remained in the Austrian part (StEG series  23.51–52 ). In 1909, as part of the nationalization of the StEG, they came to the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB) as series  105 and subsequently to the BBÖ , which they retired in 1925 and 1927.
