kkStB 61
The steam locomotive series kkStB 61 was a tank locomotive series of the kkStB , which originally came from the kk priv. Kaiserin Elisabeth-Bahn (KEB).
The KEB procured five copies of these triple-coupled tank locomotives in 1873 for light service, which were soon only used in shunting . They were made by the Sächsische Maschinenfabrik . Hartmann in Chemnitz .
The locomotives had internal frames and internal controls . Similar locomotives were also sold as the VT series by the Königl. Saxon State Railways procured in large numbers.
After the First World War , two more copies came to the BBÖ , which they retired by 1932 .
