Klartext is the seventh album by the group Wise Guys . It was released on February 17, 2003 and reached number 10 in the album charts in the first week of sales, making it by far the most successful album by the Wise Guys. It was also their first album on which the Wise Guys completely dispensed with instruments.

Work on Klartext started in summer 2001 and most of the songs were recorded by the end of August 2002, with the exception of the song Du Doof! which was only created in October 2002. All songs were produced by Uwe Baltrusch and co-produced by Edzard Hüneke and Daniel Dickopf. The songs were also recorded and mixed by Uwe Baltrusch in the Pavement Studio in Bergisch Gladbach.
