Two worlds - instrumented (2012) Two worlds - complete My heart is booming! (2013)

Two worlds is the title of two music albums by the Cologne a cappella group Wise Guys . It is an a cappella and an orchestrated version that was released on May 25, 2012 and September 14, 2012. Both contain the same songs except for three songs that have been replaced in the instrumental album with others from previous albums. The "new" songs are just for you (from the album Where the pepper grows ) Now is the summer (from the album very far forward ) and radio (from the eponymous album Radio ), as well as a bonus track sailor (from the album Free! ).

According to the Wise Guys, “a dream comes true” because they always had the songs in an orchestrated version in mind during the creation phase, but they were then “only” implemented in the a cappella version.

In connection with the two worlds, the maxi-single Lauter was released on May 11, 2012, together with the B and C tracks Now even more and Der Berg ruft .

Both parts have a bonus track: In the first part, the ballad Leise was released exclusively on iTunes, as a bonus track for the album or individually for sale. In the second, instrumented part, there is also the regular bonus track Seemann outside of iTunes , which already existed in a non-instrumented version.

In addition, a complete album was released as a double album, which contains both the complete a cappella and the fully instrumented version as well as the three a cappella bonus tracks Leise , Der Berg ruft and Jetzt even more .

In the charts, both parts are counted as one album.

In December 2012 the Wise Guys were presented with the gold record for the album on their “special night”.

Review a cappella version

“The title alludes to a Wise Guys' childhood dream from the 1990s, namely to document the production process of a disc twice. On the one hand as an a cappella version, on the other hand fully produced. The orchestrated versions are cool and have the catchy retro party sound that made the group so popular. All texts can be understood very well; They are mischievously funny and critical, they don't hurt anyone, and they flatter themselves in the ear as well as in awareness of the problem - whether it's about ICE delays, about “wrong” places of birth (“I'm from Hürth”), complainers (“Somebody will always complain ”) or the terrifying fact that you will be 40 (“ shit, shit, shit ”). “Despite the flawless craftsmanship,“ Zwei Welten ”does not present any groundbreaking innovations. Rather, the people of Cologne maintain and refine their acquired status. The band is aware that such an approach is not only applauded, because "Somebody Will Always Be Grin". "
