Class trip is the eleventh album by the Cologne a cappella group Wise Guys . It was released on January 29, 2010.
On August 17, 2012, it was awarded the gold record .
Style and content
The title class trip was chosen because it "[sums] up [the atmosphere of the CD] perfectly."
The album contains 17 songs, some of which have already been sung at concerts, such as In the airplane or With best regards . It is also the first album that was recorded with Nils Olfert, who replaced Clemens Tewinkel.
A novelty is the title Hamlet is lower recess unimportant side storylines and characters the band managed in only 52 lines of text, the essential act of the great. Shakespeare - drama play in the style of German rap.

review
“The arrangements and the production are perfectly implemented, but there is a lack of interaction… The catch is that this looks more like a comedy or advice CD, which offers something new for a few listeners, but is hardly sufficient for it as a separate CD linger in the player. ... But the somewhat bland overall impression remains. Many songs are on a childlike level and do not come close to the old material from Cologne. "
The album entered the German album charts at number 2 in the first week and stayed in the charts for 19 weeks.
