Scandal is an album by the group Wise Guys . It was released in 1999 and is the fourth LP by the a cappella group from Cologne, but only the second, which was not recorded in-house, but in a professional studio. In addition to the pieces mostly composed by Daniel Dickopf, the CD contains four cover versions of other songs (the composers are listed below in the title list).

The recordings for the album took place in several blocks from August 1998 to January 1999. Compared to the previous productions of the Wise Guys, the album is characterized by a greater stylistic variety. More attention was also paid to the rhythm; The Wise Guys were supported by Mario Argandoña and Dirk Hugo Linnemann with percussion and vocal percussion .

The last track Schwachkopf is the remix of a song from the previous album Alles im grünbereich. In addition, some time after the end of this title (at approx. 4:40 min) you can hear a piece by "Juliane & den Streichguys" which also accompanied the piece It does so hurt . It's a medley of Wise Guys songs, pop songs, and classical works.
