Klaus-Dieter Brunotte (writer)
Klaus-Dieter Brunotte (born October 19, 1948 in Hanover ; † December 24, 2017 there ) was a German writer and book maker. He lived and worked in Langenhagen and List on Sylt .
Life
Klaus-Dieter Brunotte worked for the Sparkasse Hannover for 34 years , where he was responsible for promoting culture and literature, among other things. In 1980 he began to publish his own works in the fields of poetry , satire and prose . He also published texts on visual artists and visual poetry . In collaboration with musicians and other artists designed Brunotte addition, artist books , often as unique items that include, among others, photographs, drawings, etchings and screen prints. These artist books can be found in private collections, art museums, public libraries and art collections in Germany, Europe and overseas.
His books have been exhibited in the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library (Hanover), the Hanover City Library, the Herzog August Library (Wolfenbüttel), the Langenhagen Art Association and the Museum of the City of Goslar.
In 2009 he received a three-month scholarship for writers from the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture at the Künstlerhof Schreyahn , a scholarship institution for authors and composers in the Schreyahn district of the Lower Saxony city of Wustrow in Wendland .
