Klaus Bötig

Klaus Bötig (* 1948 in Bayreuth ) is a German travel writer who is particularly known for his publications on the subject of Greece . He also wrote under the pseudonym Alfred Janssen .

Klaus Bötig writes for publishers such as Marco Polo Travel Guide , DuMont Buchverlag , for Nelles Verlag and for the Merian series in the Ganske publishing group . In addition to his work on Greece, he has published travel literature on Sri Lanka , Malaysia , Madeira , Iceland , Malta , the Azores and Wales . He published travel guides for German destinations on the Lüneburg Heath and the East Frisian Islands .

Bötig also worked for the travel journal on Radio Bremen .

Klaus Bötig lives in Bremen and is an honorary citizen of the Greek island of Kos .
