Klaus Filip (born February 24, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian improvisation musician , sound artist and programmer in the field of experimental music. His focus is working with sine tones .

Career

He studied electro-acoustic music in Vienna with Dieter Kaufmann and Wolfgang Musil.

With Kai Fagaschinski he forms the duo Los Glissandinos , together with noid the duo ease . In other duo formations he works with Radu Malfatti and Dafne Vicente-Sandoval . Other musical partners included Christof Kurzmann and Dieb13 .

He is the inventor and developer of the software ppooll , which is used in the field of experimental music and which enables live modulations. He teaches Digital Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and is co-organizer of the interdisciplinary festivals reheat on the Kleylehof in Nickelsdorf ..
