Klaus Friedrich (judge)

Klaus Friedrich (born February 2, 1921 in Königsberg ; † September 12, 2005 ) was a judge at the German Federal Social Court until 1988 .

After participating in World War II , Friedrich began studying law at Heidelberg University in 1946 . He passed the second state examination in law in 1953 in Hanover . He then worked at the Hanover State Insurance Institute before he switched to judicial service in 1954. The first stage of his judicial career was the Social Court of Lüneburg , in 1959 he moved to the State Social Court of Lower Saxony .

In June 1971 Friedrich was appointed judge at the Federal Social Court, of which he was a member of the 2nd Senate, later as deputy chairman, for the entire time he was a member of this court.

After reaching the age limit, Friedrich retired in 1988.
