Klaus Gelhaar
Klaus Gelhaar (* 1938 in Königsberg ) is a former German stage designer .
From 1958 to 1962 he studied stage design in the stage design class of the master school for arts and crafts in Berlin. From 1965 to 1968 he worked as Wilfried Minks ' assistant, then worked on productions by Peter Zadek , Kurt Hübner and Peter Palitsch. From 1972 to 1976 he was a member of the directorate of the Frankfurter Schauspiel. From 1981 to 1992 he was professor for stage design and costume at the Offenbach am Main University of Design .
He realized numerous sets at theaters in Frankfurt , Stuttgart , Heidelberg , Bochum , Munich , Cologne , Bremen , Nuremberg , Karlsruhe , Wiesbaden , Darmstadt and Kassel .
