Klaus Hahn (born December 4, 1925 in Heilbronn ; † July 10, 2019 in Lacanau , France ) was a German rower who competed for the Saarland .

Athletic career

In 1948, Klaus Hahn and the team from Heilbronn RG Schwaben took third place in the four-man team at the German championship , and in 1950 the team was runner-up. The following year he started for the Mannheim RV Amicitia and was runner-up again.

In 1952, Klaus Hahn was a member of the Saarland delegation at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki . Together with Herbert Kesel he started in two without a helmsman . In the semifinals, the duo had a comfortable lead over the boats from Poland and the United States. However, Hahn collapsed and could no longer row, and the duo were eliminated. The following year, the couple came second at the German Championships.

Klaus Hahn last lived in Lacanau, France. He died there in July 2019 at the age of 93.
